A Swiss-born, educational game : Fripouille.
This article traces the beginnings of the Fripouille adventure and also presents the partnership with the pedagogical authorities of the Canton of Vaud!
The Pedagogical and the Sustainability authorities of the Canton of Vaud have officially approved the game and are recommending Fripouille as a complementary tool as part of the geography curriculum.
Learning through play!
Starting in the 2026 school year, the game will be made available in all schools across the canton of Vaud, giving students aged 8 to 15 the opportunity to play and expand their knowledge about sustainability.
Playful and flexible learning!
To enrich the experience, a tutorial will be provided to best integrate the game into the geography classes. Fripouille will thus diversify teaching approaches related to sustainable development and be linked with the Swiss geography curriculum.

What is Fripouille : an educational game
Fripouille is a fun climate education card game that raises awareness about sustainability. It can be played from age 8 to 88 and lasts around 25 minutes.
Thanks to its easy-to-understand rules, dynamic pace, and lively, humorous content, Fripouille reminds us of good and bad everyday habits related to: energy, transport, agriculture and food, as well as a final theme unique to our generation: digital technology.
