How to play Fripouille?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Collect the most points to win! The game ends when one player completes their full set: four blue<\/span>, four red<\/span>, four green<\/span>, and four yellow<\/span> cards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The game master separates the cards by type (red, blue, yellow, green and Joker) and shuffles each pile individually.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They place a selection of cards face up in the center of the table. They deal out the same number of cards as the number of players (4 players = 4 cards).<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the signal is given, say \u201cFripouille\u201d or \u201cGo\u201d, players pick the card they wish to complete their families. The quickest player wins the card.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The game master repeats until a player has completed all 4 families of cards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then count the points: positive points + negative points + each completed family gets an additional 2 points<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The player with the most points wins.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to complete families?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When players pick a positive card, they retain it to complete their families or discard it in the \u201ctrash pile\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When players pick a negative card, they retain it to complete their families, discard it in the \u201ctrash pile\u201d or impose it into another player\u2019s deck\u2026!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    • This is where strategy comes into play: knowing your cards and those of your opponents.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Players will want to maximize positive point cards and minimize negative point cards.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      When players answer a multiple-choice or open-ended question correctly, they can choose one of these actions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Once a player has completed a family of four cards (i.e. 4 blue cards), then this family is sealed for that player and cannot be modified. The player cannot continue to collect cards in that family. Each completed family grants two additional points.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Cards should never be hidden. They should be laid out openly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

          A 2 in 1 Joker card means that a player completes two families at the same time. One specified family earns 2 points, and the other family gets one point. The 2 in 1 Joker card cannot be applied to a family that is already completed.<\/strong><\/p>\n
